Thank you to everyone who helped this day happen! I’m going to take a few days “off” now, but wanted to share these with you first. 🙂
God Bless Lydia and your whole family!
Thank you for sharing!!!
Gorgeous! Congrats to your baby girl! (We had ours Saturday, also, and thanks to you, it was special in extra ways with all of your great ideas. We ended up having the waffles with the icing cross Sunday!)
PS Where did you get the doll dress? May have to make one for my girlie.
I found it in an etsy shop

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful daughter on a blessed day! Congratulations! thank you for sharing with us!!
Thanks for sharing your family and your faith. Lydia is so beautiful and the effort you went to so amazing! I’m sure she’ll always remember it as a truly special day. 🙂
I actually had a lot of help! It was less work than the pictures make it look. 😉
We are so happy to see the photos on this special day = Our Grandson received his First Communion but we did not get to see him so this helps us to fill in the spaces.
These are wonderful! You really captured the wonder and joy of the day. Thank you so much for sharing and congratulations to Lydia and all of you!
Congratulations Lydia.
Congratulations! Our son also made his First Holy Communion on Saturday and it was beautiful. He was so excited and he chose to wear an ALL white communion suit complete with white shoes (which we rented!). The process of finding the suit was a journey on it’s own! Once he received it in the mail, the excitement began and the day he put it on and I saw the look on his face, it was well worth it! Thank you so much for all your ideas and projects. We’ve used so many throughout our year (this is our fist time homeschooling). He loved the First Communion treats! We did the jello chalices for his class to enjoy. Needless to say they were a big hit to everyone, even the priest! God bless you and your family! 😉
Just beautiful. Congrats to her!
Congratulations Lydia!! It has been great watching you grow up in pictures and now Feasting at the table of the Lord!! God Bless you!!
Great pics Lacy!
Thanks for sharing this special day with us. It is amazing! I am a Catholic School teacher in Chicago and enjoy reading all your blogs and getting ideas from you. May God bless you and your family.
What a beautiful day for a beautiful girl! Congratulations and God bless!
Lydia looks absolutely lovely! Congratulations Lydia!
Lacy you did a wonderful job with the reception. The pictures were great as well. Thank you for sharing such a special day with us.
I loved the Chalice centerpiece. Do you mind sharing where you bought it from? My nephew is making his First Communion soon and I would like to have that Chalice on a table. Thank you for sharing those pictures of your daughter
I can’t be 100% sure, but it definitely looks like something that Lacy made by putting gluing together other objects (like the top looks like a plastic mixing bowl) and then spray painting it all. I could be wrong, but it looks very much like other projects she has shared where she has done that. – Angie, Catholic Icing Project Manager
